'Descendants' Poster: Relaxin' with G. Clooney

Unless you count his short segment in Paris, Je T'Aime or his draft of the I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, we haven't seen anything from Alexander Payne in theaters since his well-received 2004 comedy Sideways. The director will finally make his return this December with The Descendants, a film starring George Clooney as "a land baron [who] tries to re-connect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident." It also reportedly provides Matthew Lillard the opportunity to do something outside of the role "Shaggy (voice)," so that should be nice for him.

Here's the film's first poster, which looks more like a bus shelter ad for a leisurely tropical vacation from the city with George Clooney. Man, why isn't that a real product? You know that guy would really know how to kick back.
