Hey, a Movie About Kodachrome Film, Sort Of!

Anticipating a big desire for movies peripherally related to bygone film stock, DreamWorks has made a preemptively deal with screenwriter Jonathan Tropper for a script about a pilgrimage to Dwayne’s Photo, the world's last processor of Paul Simon's beloved Kodachrome film. Based on this New York Times article about fanatics of the film trekking to Parsons, Kansas to get their rolls developed, the screenplay will focus squarely on a father-son duo's trip, and Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy is already interested in taking charge of this thing. What an RV + hilarious during-the-credits slideshow (set to an unfortunate cover of the title song, naturally) that might be! Keep your Brendan Frasers crossed.
