Continuing to overtake Zac Efron as Hollywood's go-to faerie-face, Nicholas Hoult--who has a part in X-Men: First Class and the lead Bryan Singer's upcoming Jack the Giant Killer--has been cast in Summit Entertainment's Warm Bodies, which the Hollywood Reporter describes thusly:

Jonathan Levin is directing the story which, in a tone similiar to Twilight meets Shaun of the Dead, follows an existentially-tormented zombie named R that begins an unlikely friendship with the human girlfriend of one of his victims. The blossoming relationship starts a chain reaction that will transform him, his fellow zombies and maybe the whole lifeless world.

Well, at least that unchecked, girl-falls-for-a-horror-movie-monster box between girls-fall-for-a-werewolf and girl-falls-for-a-vampire at last gets its mark. Girl-falls-for-a-mummy next, then?
