Zach Galifianakis Probably Playing Dead Cop
It seems the ever-increasing sidekick presence of Zach Galifianakis will likely be merging with the ever-increasing comic book movie presence of Ryan Reynolds on the set of R.I.P.D. The LA Times has word our favorite portly beardo will be starring alongside Green Lantern in Red director Robert Schwentke's Dark Horse comic adaptation, with both men playing recently-deceased cops out to avenge the murder of officer Nick Cruz (Reynolds). Production is expected to begin this summer, just as soon as the screenwriter adds in some parts where the duo for some reason take their shirts off to hilarious/ab-filled effect.
