Tyler Perry's News Item #2: It sounds like David Twohy's Alex Cross film--in which Idris Elba was meant to take over novelist James Patterson's character from Morgan Freeman--isn't happening anymore. Instead, xXx director Rob Cohen is going to make a bigger budget addition to the Alex Cross series. And playing the fictional detective/psychologist: yup, Tyler Perry. So there will probably also be a Kiss the Girls TBS sitcom.
