
Well, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies might have found a new director. The add-something-wacky-to-a-classic project previously had Mike White attached to direct, and before that was set up for David O. Russell, but now it seems Craig Gillespie--director of Lars and the Real Girl, Mr. Woodcock, and the upcoming Fright Night remake--is the frontrunner for the job, because Lionsgate is still insisting this is a film we have to make. We really can't just CGI a few walking corpses in the background of the Colin Firth miniseries?

Lionsgate has been eager to move on their adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies--quickly, before people start to realize it's literally just Pride and Prejudice with a cheap pop culture reference tacked on--and word is they'll soon be choosing a director for the project...
