Bucky Barnes! Woody Opening Cannes! SyFy Making Something with Actual Actors? More!

- What a Lil' Baby Bourne! Here's the first look at Captain America sidekick Bucky Barnes. Hopefully in action he'll look less like a psycho kid shooting birds out of their nests. (via)
- Oscar-nominated Toy Story 3 screenwriter Michael Arndt has been brought on to write Snow White and the Seven, one of several Snow White projects in development. This one's gimmick? It's set in 19th century China. Sure, why not.
- Elijah Wood, Donald Sutherland, and Eddie Izzard have signed on to Syfy's Treasure Island. What, Syfy, like you're suddenly too good for John Rhys-Davies, Debbie Gibson, and oversized marine life?
- Clear and Present Danger screenwriter Steve Zaillian has been brought on to re-write the latest Jack Ryan film. Get it right, or everyone's dads will be mad!
- Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris will open the 64th annual Festival de Cannes. So let's hope this isn't one of the terrible Woody Allen movies.
- Jackie Earle Haley is in talks to play Willie Loomis in Tim Burton's adaptation of Dark Shadows. Didn't take Burton long to sniff out that weird looking guy, did it?
