You know those "always a bridesmaid!" movies where Katherine Heigl or whoever (probably Katherine Heigl, though) is a perennially single bridesmaid, but then it's okay by the end because she marries some dude? Here's one of those that doesn't look quite as awful as usual! Mostly because it has a respectable ensemble cast (Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Wendi Mclendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper, and Melissa McCarthy), writing by Kristen Wiig, and the involvement of the Freaks & Geeks team of Judd Apatow and director Paul Feig--plus, an outcome that doesn't seem to hinge on the success of a trite romance. But, man, how many "she's single!" jokes can you cram into a single trailer? (Many.)
