Those Caribbean-based Pirates are back! Well, not all of them. But those deemed essential within the film's budget (Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Keith Richards) are back, as are new pirates Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane, and this time they're all on the hunt for our Best Spring, the Fountain of Youth. Or is that quest just an excuse to find the greatest treasure of all: the spirited adventures they have along the way? I think it might be!
After the At World's End, I'm finding it a little disappointing that this one doesn't appear to at any point devolve into a confusing experimental film.
