Neill Blomkamp's Next Sci-Fi Film Getting Some Damon?

South African director Neill Blomkamp is reportedly looking to add fake South African rugby star Matt Damon to the cast of his next, the top secret sci-fi film Elysium. According to Deadline, the actor is in early negotiations for the lead, and if that works out, he'll be joining other actual South African Sharlto Copley, who was chosen to re-team with his District 9 director earlier in the week. Sorry, Leonardo DiCaprio; you gave it a shot, but your audition wasn't quite what they were looking for.
