Your weekend top five:

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 - $50.3 million, continuing the Harry Potter movie tradition of making a lot of money.

2. Tangled - $49.1 million, ticket sales seemingly unaffected by some women cutting their hair shorter nowadays.

3. Megamind - $12.9 million, winning over almost all of the under-10 male population concerned Tangled might be a girl movie.

4. Burlesque - $11.8 million. "Had dinner with the family, took a nap, went out and saw that Cher/Christina Aguilera movie," will be someone's back-to-work-after-the-holiday story.

5. Unstoppable - $11.75 million. But could it have still beaten Love and Other Drugs and Faster had it been released under the equally-accurate title, Broken Train? I think so. I really want to see a movie called Broken Train.
