'The Eagle' Trailer: Some Former Male Dancers Look for a Metal Eagle
Having long since abandoned their male dancing roots, Channing Tatum and Jamie Bell have finally made it to the Roman soldier travelogue genre with The Eagle (the new, cool kids name for the film formerly-titled Eagle of the Ninth), and there's now a trailer for the film. And since it's the first thing you're probably wondering, no, none of the actors in it bother to do a vague, sort-of-English accent to give us the illusion of old timey-ness. Director Kevin Macdonald wants us to really have to work at imagining Channing Tatum is a centurion, not just a douchebag dressed as "Russell Crowe Gladiator" for Halloween.
