Katie Holmes Playing Adam Sandler's Wife -- AND SISTER-IN-LAW! -- in 'Jack & Jill'

Adam Sandler playing both a family man AND his own twin sister who won't leave after visiting her sibling for Thanksgiving: that ALONE is funny enough for an entire 90-minutes of film (plus during-the-credits outtakes), right? So you'd think! But not funny enough for Columbia and Jack and Jill director Dennis Dugan. They're working on signing the always-riotous Katie Holmes to star opposite Sandler in the film. Holmes would play Jack's wife, bringing with her that signature, hilariously-shameful hollowness and the powerful comedic presence that makes any character she's playing feel like they're only a fleeting memory from yesterday's dream. Al Pacino, looking for some of that sweet Meet the Parents money De Niro keeps pulling in, is also in the film playing himself. Expect several "hoo-ahs."
