Cillian Murphy Adds His Name to 'I'm.mortal' Credits

Andrew Niccol's incredibly stupidly-titled I'm.mortal will soon have the Scarecrow in its cast, everyone. THR says Cillian Murphy has joined Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake in the Logan's Run-like sci-fi commentary/Alpha Dog reunion:

The story is set in the not-too-distant future, when the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, and the rest try to negotiate for their immortality.

When a poor man named Will (Timberlake, who still is negotiating his deal) is suddenly given a fortune, he becomes the target of a murder investigation and kidnaps an heiress (Seyfried) while on the run.

Murphy will play an officer from an organization known as Timekeepers and described as "precise as the time he keeps."

I could be wrong, but this is probably the first time a film's antagonist has been given the exact same characterization you'd use to dramatically describe the guy who runs the official NBA shot clock.
