300 was great but Watchmen completely fucking SUCKED! This movie looks just as stupid....everyone knows that guys who thing "girls with guns is hot" are just a bunch of losers who live in their parents basement and never had a real girlfriend. The directors cut of watchmen is sooooooo fuckin ballin. In the version that opened in theaters the beginning and end of almost every scene got cut to save on time, which made it much more confusing and seem so poorly thrown together. There are also some cool scenes that got cut entirely (poor Hollis Mason).

and yeah this looks like its just trying too hard. i still might check it out, but i feel like the trailer alone reduced my IQ to a viscus liquid that is now dripping out of my ass. not sure if i could handle the full movie

This trailer reaffirms my belief that Zach Snyder was born to convert Japanese anime to live-action films. Slow-mo samurai giants firing gatling guns at teenage girls in short skirts wielding swords? When do we get Fist of the North Star, Akira, and Battle Angel Alita by Zack Snyder?

Also, taking Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez's vision and applying it to scripts that aren't written by Miller or Rodriguez is a gift to mankind. Keep it up Zack. And look into Space Battleship Yamato please.

If this isn't an adaptation of something I will be seriously impressed. Hollywood badly needs some original stories right now. Znyder is one of the very directors with a great visual eye, but I'm still waiting for that great story to go along with it. Movie looks like awesome awesome fun, and I'm glad he got Emily Browning (the blonde); great actress, severely underrated. WIll definitely be watching this!

I want to beat Snyder with a sack of hammers almost as bad as I'd like to torture George Lucas long and slow for what he did to his own Franchise, robbing generations of his orignal work and replacing it with with shitty 90's CGI. My beef with Snyder is less intense because I think he's borderline mentally retarded. He has a briliant eye and can definetly crank out the eye candy, but as Watchmen proved, he knows nothing about the complexity of story telling. He doesn't know how to build tension and pace his stories correctly. I LOVE WATCHMEN, or for that matter anything I've ever read by Allan Moore, and to be fair, he did a better job than most would have because he didn't fuck with the original story much. Unfortunately his gay retardation shown through around the edges........

I can already see fanboys grinding their teeth about this " It was a faithfull rendition, he got it right!" Bullshit. I do have to give him props on the opening credits, the comedian shooting Kennedy? That was new and fit perfectly within the context of the orignal story. Unfortunately that was they best part of that three hour giant blue cock festival he called a movie. The main reason I'm mad? That retard robbed me of what should have been the most satisfying part of the movie, The "I'm not locked up with you, you are locked in here with me" scene, word for word from the source material, again good job on that, but by the time this testosterone soaked scene which should have been a classic moment in fanboy history, the audience was desensatised by Zack Snyder, he ellevated the violence and over sold every scene to the point when something was truly epic and deserved our attention, it was just another moment. What was worse, it was down right comical. The thing is, the only thing I liked about the movie was what should have been fucking obvious to anyone, respect the original work. Big gay retard.
