Jul 9 2010Some Lemon Juice for That Paper Cut: 'Party Down' Not on Netflix Anymore, Either
You know how, when you heard Party Down was officially cancelled, you took solace in knowing you could at least watch the series on Netflix, occasionally falling asleep to it as it becomes your Arrested Development successor? Well, you can't do that anymore, either. As noticed by Clicker, the show is off Netflix too, starting today--forcing us to buy an elegant white box set marked only with the pink bowtie that seals the package (at least make that, Starz). What a world. As Michael Hitchcock says in the final episode: something about a shit sandwich that I can no longer properly reference because it's not on fucking Netflix.

I'd never heard of this, but I watched it because of your blog, and liked it. You should talk about more things that aren't terrible!

I actually finished this on netflix last night. They must have been waiting for me to finish it before they yanked it. It was awesome, and I want more. Please make a movie. I love movies that take place over one night, and this would be perfect for it.

They took it off of Starz OnDemand as well.
Starz mishandled this show so badly.

Indeed an epic fail for Netflix.
"Buy it" Really? I suppose that IS an option.
I'm sure a there's a certain 'Bay of Pirates' where you could find the it. Just sayin'.

Luckily I finished both seasons just last week. Another example that good TV very rarely survives...

Why have they done this? Doesn't it just seem like they are turning down free money? Anyone have any insight?
