Have Some Indie Comedi-Schmaltz: 'It's Kind of a Funny Story' Trailer

From the hand-drawn, sickeningly pastel-colored landscapes of the Away We Go/Juno-verse has emerged another, equally-twee entity hoping to lure us in with its respected funnyman supporting cast. This time the beast has taken the form of It's Kind of a Funny Story, starring this apparently-Vulcan kid from United States of Tara (as Zach Braff surrogate), Emma Roberts, and Zach Galifianakis in a mental ward. Here's the trailer:

It's written and directed by the (at least at one time) dating couple team of Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, which is just so darling I can barely hear my own grumbling through all the blaring Mates of State in my head.

So, since Jim Gaffigan is in both this and Away We Go, do you think he's sort of the pale Greek chorus of this world, able to appear as any quirky character required?
