Unsurprising: Danny McBride Playing Some Sort of A-Hole Character

If you've seen Danny McBride in Eastbound & Down and The Foot Fist Way, you know he's great to watch as a pathetic asshole blowhard. That's classic McBride mode. That's the McBride I'm going to start my children on before moving them up to pathetic-but-not-really-an-asshole McBride of Up in the Air and things. Thankfully, there will soon be another bit of entertainment to show them in those nascent years. According to Deadline as the actor has signed on to play one-half of an adult bully duo in the aptly-named Bullies:
Mandate has made a deal for Bullies, a comedy based on an original idea by McBride about two brothers who finally get a comeuppance after bullying people their whole lives. Yes Man scribes Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul will write the script. McBride will produce with his Rough House Pictures partners David Gordon Green, Jody Hill and Matt Reilly.
If Will Ferrell doesn't play his bully comrade, I owe everyone a Coca-Cola.
