'The American' Trailer: George Clooney Is Bond, but American

Finally, a movie about an American! And that American is George Clooney, Our Greatest American.

Based on the novel A Very Private Gentleman by Martin Booth, Anton Corbijn's The American stars Clooney as a spy, or a retired spy, or something. Maybe it's his last job? Regardless, the important part is clearly that he bleeds red, white and blue. His colors don't run. Let's roll. He might be a redneck if. American.
