Mar 10 2010We've Lost a Corey
Corey Haim, star of films like Lucas and The Lost Boys, was found dead this morning of a likely drug overdose. He was 38.
Though Haim found success in the '80s as both star and teen idol, with his face appearing in magazines beside a pink heart and an interview about his favorite color, his increasing drug use led to a fall from grace and less and less non-straight-to-video work. More recently, he starred alongside frequent collaborator Corey Feldman in a belated Lost Boys sequel and A&E's pseudo-reality show The Two Coreys. When the show ended, Feldman refused to speak again to Haim until he sobered up (though I have a feeling he'll totally talk to any reporters that want to give him a momentary place in the spotlight).
Goodbye, Corey. May your license to drive never expire.

He was like the "other guy in wham!" (not george michael)
...yeah I had to google that guy's name too
yes, i was aware of cory haim and his name
but it was more like an alex winter keaneau reeves thing
where you know of what reeves is doing (albeit with terrible wooden acting) but alex winter dissapeared after bill and ted and lost boys
(hey...a lost boys connection)
i just would have instantly connected haim to feldman whereas i would instantly connect feldman to his roles.
he was a sidekick and this was inevitable
anyone know if alex winter is having drug issues?
is this the year of dead child actors?
where are the home improvement kids right now?
and when will robot chicken do its dedication?

@ 5 sokka - In the late 80's movies I thought Haim seemed more like the idealized hero, and Feldman was the edgy wild-card sidekick.
Haim usually played a cocky Zack Morris/Saved By The Bell type character, didn't he? Feldman's characters were more on the fringes of society, more of an outcast or something.
