There's less than a month until The Wire creator David Simon's latest series, Treme, premieres on HBO; time for another trailer to get you excited for this goddammer.

Did you even realize John Goodman is in this? John Goodman is in this:

I can't wait. I'm going to feel so dramatically informed about the hardships of a culture I actually possess no true understanding of.

Not going to watch it, I never like HBO cereals. I prefer Rice Crispies.

But srsly, can this stink anymore of emmy winner already? It doesn't matter if it sucks, it's gonna be all heart wrenching and focus on the people and it's oh so topical and has been just long enough after the disaster to be okay, but not long enough that people won't take notice.
As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't matter what it ends up like, it's going to win awards just for the premise. And that sucks ass.

i saw tits for a 1/1,000,000 second so i'm watchin it

Is your name David Sedaris?

Monster,

Not necessarily. The Wire is largely considered the greatest show ever created, despite never winning any major awards.

Monster:

Watch the wire or the corner or generation kill and then tell me those don't deserve tons of awards and praise. David Simon deserves to be recognized and if this show causes people to notice one of the best (if not the best) storytellers in television then I am happy.

Yay, Lester and Bunk are back!!!

@Monster

Don't mix trailers up with the actual show itself. The show is by an artist. The trailer is by a guy trying to sell the art. Trust the name David Simon.
