Hugo Weaving, Matrix secret service agent and elf in the ring movie, is reportedly nearing a deal to play Red Skull, a guy with a red skull head, in the upcoming Captain America movie. The Hollywood Reporter says talks about Weaving bearing a crimson, skeletal head are "in a delicate stage that will play out in the next day or so," with Marvel playing the kind of hardball that almost lost them Mickey Rourke in Iron Man 2 after the company reportedly offered him only $250k, which would barely pay for a single Rourke hair treatment.
Who will play the wing-headed jingoist hero himself in this piece of shit remains a mystery.
