Mar 17 2010'Four Lions' Trailer: The Proper, Non-'Remember Me' Way To Address Terrorism
A new comedy directed by the creator of the hilarious British series The Day Today and Brass Eye and co-written by the creators of Peep Show? Yes, that sounds like something I'll probably need to program into my viewing matrix.
Here's the trailer. Finally, someone has realized the only way to defeat the terrorists is by cleverly mocking them with a satirical film about a group of bumbling extremist fools.
If this doesn't work, then we can go back to tanks and making me take my shoes off at the airport.

it made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me turn fundamentalist and blow my self up ?
Listen to what the critics are saying about 'Four Lions' :
"The feel good movie of the year. "Perclams Osama Bin Laden
"I laughed until I died." says a random Alcida member blown up by a drone.
" Death to the infidels, but only a little" raves Ahmadinejad

America is too caught up in Paris Hilton, The Kardashians, and American Idol to even try to "get" this kind of humor.
Shit, they barely "got" Locked Stock and Two Smokin' Barrels & Snatch for fuck's sake.

oh we get it markonious.
the thing with america is we cant make these movies anymore because we have this made up word "politically correct". i personally would love to see something like this made here. in fact this is where it would make the most sense. i mean bugs bunny did it back in the WW2 era.
times have changed for the worse.
i am mexican american and i cant even eat beans out in public cause our coconut counterparts could sue me for being racist. cause i am portraying a beaner.

che-che...
Good call there. I can appreciate the buggs bunny reference for sure. As many today are too young to ever know about the WW2 and the racism that filled those old school WB cartoons. Goddamn those where the best.
Too true.
Too true.
HYPER-SENSITIVE Bullshit... I hear ya.
