I am so sick of QT parody's only really reflecting Kill Bill. I guess it's just because it was his most successful film box office wise and the style is easy to imitate, but it's getting old.

Actually, Inglourious Basterds was more successful than Kill Bill, and Pulp Fiction was as well. I agree, mimicking Kill Bill is so 2003. And nobody gets the David Lynch parodies right. The Wes Anderson one was pretty clever though.

Nobody gets Wes parodies right. They do what the spiderman video did, they reuse lines and characters. The best parody of Wes was the Mcain ad. That is how a Wes Anderson parody should be. The superbowl one was ok, i loved the stadium shot labeled "The Stadium".

Sorry if Tarantino really directed the superbowl there'd be two minutes of action to go with hours of people talking about pointless garbage while I get bored, then at the end the audience would look at each other and say "That was great!"

Wait, maybe he really does direct the superbowl after all.......

woowww that was just terrible, sword fight sounds randomly over images of ppl playing foot ball, thats obviously what tarintino would do,, and wes andderson they totaly captured him..

the anderson one is actually good. the wide angles, a bit of slo-mo, and the kinks. of course it's not like watching wes' movies, but it's definitely better than qt's superbowl.

I am very disappointed that they left out a Michael Bay version with tons of explosions and fireworks.

Wow, this really made me realize how much the Superbowl was already directed by Michael Bay. The stereotypical gender roles, the slow motion, the pumped up sound track, the lack of any plot or characters, the inane dialogue, the product placement...

The only difference is in the Superbowl, the camerawork is good enough that you can actually see what the fuck is going on.

Also, ditto on everything people already said about the trailers. The QT one was just Kill Bill, the Lynch one was useless (what made the Lynch Goofy Movie and Dirty Dancing ones funny is that it made the plot seem like it belonged in a David Lynch movie, rather than just using a few visual and auditory gimmicks in his repertoire), and the Anderson one didn't work because the visuals don't look at all like his style. The Spiderman one was cute, especially considering the spot-on Owen Wilson, but the recycled costumes were annoyingly obvious.

Plot and characters? Inane dialogue? WTF are you talking about? Football is game, not a scripted and acted out movie. Personally I find the Superbowl to be more entertaining than Wes Anderson's hippy and non-edgy directing style. I just love how people can go onto online forums and post really retarded shit like that and walk away from the computer feeling accomplished for saying something smart.
