Variety reports Disney is currently developing a new film about some kids going to prom.That they're going to call Prom. Because it's about prom.
The comedy will likely feature a High School Musical-like cast of mostly unknowns (unknown until they're hanging in my locker!); Joe Nussbaum, whose résumé includes the modernized, Amanda Bynes-starring Snow White update, Sydney White, and the straight-to-video American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile, will expertly direct.
