Feb 17 2010Dismal-Sounding Concept Possibly Redeemed by People Involved
My pledge to automatically disregard any movie about two women fighting over a wedding has been broken. The usually-funny-outside-of-SNL Kristen Wiig has co-written a script with just such a concept (friends fighting over planning another friend's wedding) and will star in the film, giving this bleak summary some hope. Also adding credibility: Judd Apatow and Paul Feig, who previously worked together on cult favorite Freaks & Geeks, will be producing and directing, respectively.
Could this be the not-awful Bride Wars the legend spoke of? Possibly!
