Feb 22 2010Deadwood as Blackbeard the Pirate?

The Pirates of the Caribbean series continues to attract a surprisingly respectable list of actors to its ever expanding cast. Heat Vision tells us Ian McShane, best known to US audiences for his roles on Deadwood and commercials for that show with all the fucking butterfly imagery, is in talks to join the latest chapter of the franchise, On Stranger Tides. If signed, McShane would play Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard, the second most dastardly pirate ever. And who might be playing the most dastardly pirate? You. If you illegally download Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides rather than purchase it on DisneyDVD and Blu-ray.

?

This would be great. I could see Johnny depp doing some crazy antics, only to be met by an icy cold stare

he would then sit down, embarassed

like when he realizes he did 21 jump street? hahaha oh....

I think he'd make a great Blackbeard just so long as he finds a better creepy accent

I think he would be PERFECT for the role, but mostly because he can grow black facial hair...

...and also because I can't wait to hear Jack Sparrow get called a cocksucker.

Shoes have so many decorated material, stuff in the three-dimensional flowers, metal studs, bow ties, and a variety of precious crystal, YSL shoes were decorated with the metal materials, even the classic bamboo with a small increase or heel-catcher at the top.

I agree, mr spambot!

It really doesn't matter who plays the part as long as Terry Rossio and Ted Elliot are writing his lines.

"...and also because I can't wait to hear Jack Sparrow get called a cocksucker."

Haha! That's exactly what I was thinking.

Hell yeah! Loved him in Kings, a sadly short lived show. He brings something to the table that makes me interested in another Pirates movie after what the third did...

How did this guy get a reputation as a great actor? Everything he's ever been in has sucked. Remember "Hot Rod" and "Death Race"? The guy looks like a badass. That's the only thing he has going for him.

@14 you know nothing!

I saw him in a show in London about ten years ago (a musical yet). He was great.
