Danny McBride, Jody Hill Reteaming for More Painfully Great Comedy

The team that brought us The Foot-Fist Way and Eastbound & Down is giving us another entertainment sandwich to enjoy. According to Variety, the two are developing a pitch from Michael Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan that would cast McBride as a "beaten-down, hardboiled P.I." No further cast or plot elements have been revealed, but already I'm assuming, a) I'll probably like this, and b) Danny McBride will have a mullet, goatee, and pathetic bravado, which is why I'll like it.
