Yeah, it's Avatar again:
1. Avatar - $42.8 million. It's now the third highest grossing film domestically and the top grossing film ever that has won the Golden Globes for both Best Picture and Most Make-Up Tutorials.
2. The Book of Eli - $32.8 million. The whole Haiti thing must have made post-apocalypse too REAL.
3. The Lovely Bones - $17 million. Child murder just doesn't bring in the crowds like it used to.
4. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel - $11.7 million. High-pitched singing: still popular.
5. Sherlock Holmes - $9.9 million, narrowly beating a film in which Jackie Chan plays a secret agent babysitting his neighbor's children.
