'Avatar' Still Everyone's Favorite Movie

Your weekend box office report, brought to you by Golden Corral, the fictional restaurant chain that keeps airing those commercials for their meals where everything is wrapped in bacon:

1. Avatar - $36 million. Now the second highest-grossing picture domestically, after the boat one.

2. Legion - $18.2 million. Left Behind + The Punisher somehow fails to find the combined success you'd expect.

3. The Book of Eli - $17 million. Spoiler alert: it turns out there's an entire library of Books of Eli, but everyone breaks their glasses right before they can read them. (Not true.)

4. The Tooth Fairy - $14.5 million. It will be years before we figure out why a movie about a violent hockey player forced to become a tooth fairy wasn't that successful at the box office. In the end, the verdict will be "human ignorance."

5. The Lovely Bones - $8.8 million. What Dreams May Come + To Catch a Predator also fails to find the combined success you'd expect (because To Catch a Predator: The Movie had huge box office.)
