Dec 2 2009'Zombieland', 'Jackass' Sequels Coming to Three-Dimensional Cinemas

Remember when you were watching Jackass 2 and you turned to me and said, "I'll tell ya, I am not at all sick of this Jackass guys-getting-hurt-doing-stunts shtick, even after the movie and three seasons of the show." And I said, "Really? Because I've been pretty over it for a while. I'm not sure why we're even watching this." And you replied, "Well, that's the exact opposite of me, because I am loving Jackass."

"The ONLY thing," you continued, "that I would ever change in this magical formula is maybe shooting it in 3D, so that when Johnny Knoxville winds back the nine iron he's about to hit his dwarf friend with, the club would come out of the screen at me. That's the one thing I'd change."

And someone listened!

Sony is in the process of inking deals to bring back the "Zombieland" team for a second installment, but this time the bloody comedy is poised to unspool in 3D. And Paramount has greenlit a third "Jackass," which will also be shot in 3D.

No further details of either the Zombieland sequel nor the Jackass sequel have been released as of yet, but I think it's safe to say the addition of 3D to both series exponentially increases the chances that a dude in the audience will at some point shout "dude" when something crazy happens.

I could give a fuck less about Jackass but a Zombieland sequel...yes please! The ending in the film completely left it open for a sequel anwyay...lots of ways to take it :)

I couldn't help but crack a smile at that prediction. So true!
