Dec 8 2009'Youth in Revolt' Red-Band Trailer: Just Keep Pretending Michael Cera is a Teenager

Michael Cera times two??? Are my eyes seeing twice the quantity of things they typically observe during regular function? No! It's a new Youth in Revolt trailer, this time presented with all the swearing He intended. Watch:

This film is all the Steve Urkel/Stefan Urquelle alter-ego duality wanted to be but couldn't be because ABC refused to let Urquelle talk about wearing Laura like a crown.

He's not a teenager yet? I would have pegged him as at least 13.

Nothing says rebel like a mustache and Aviator glasses.

Well i guess it also says porn star.

This trailer makes the movie look infinitely better than the other one did. The lack of Zach G is a little puzzling, though.

i wonder how long till someone finds out, that he is the same character in every movie.

I wonder how long it will be before everyone realizes that everyone already realized Michael Cera is the same character in every movie and just shuts up.

well said Ramon M...

Al Pacino is the same in every movie and it didn't do him any harm.

This looks loke a really shitty 80's movie. I can't wait until his scrawny little ass turns about 35 and he's still playing the same role just in a different setting. He'll be the lovable little nerd at the office that somehow captures the heart of the hottest woman at work. After a very awkward sex scene where much hilarity ensues (can't pop a stiff, condom wrapper too difficult to open, having trouble finding where "it" goes), he gets her knocked up. Then of course part two has all of the standard dumb ass dad cliches such as putting the diaper on wrong, can't figure out how to make a bottle, and of couse baby vomit.

I like the Cera shtick, but Mr. Lopez you are an oracle. As it is written, so shall it be done. To Death.

excellent.

This kid is oustanding :) . Just saw the trailer at http://trailers-watch.com/ . Hilarious!

For the first time in forever, I've watched a trailer with Michael Cera in it, and didn't have the strong urge to choke the life out of him.

Bravo!
