As a celebration of Empire's 20th birthday, the magazine convinced some notable actors to pose for some photos that hint at their iconic roles of the past. Arnold Schwarzenegger on a motorcycle (Terminator), Morpheus perched on a luxurious chair (The Matrix), Mel Gibson with the Freedom Sword (Braveheart) and more await in this gallery.
Obviously Sam Neill fighting off a dinosaur (above, recreating the scene from Dinosaur Park) is the best one, but Jack Nicholson either recreating his role as Kevin Spacey in K-Pax or completely oblivious to the concept and just being Jack Nicholson also has a certain genius to it.

this was very enjoyable. i personally liked sam neill for jurassic park, the bean and viggo for :LOTR, and gerard butler for 300.

They really should get Robert Englund to do a big series of all the famous "Nightmare on Elm Street" scenes. Because I have a feeling that Bay will ruin the personality that is "Freddy". If you take a look back, we all love Krueger films. Even when the plot got bad and the story ran short, we still loved that personality.

HAHA Perfect summary of Jack Nicholson! I want that as a poster on my wall.
Is Matt Damon being Bourne with that magazine? I don't remember that scene.
Sam Neill's is a bit off-putting and overstated, to be honest. Couldn't they just have had him holding a raptor claw?
