Great News from Disney: Wedding No Longer Banned

A few months ago, Disney announced they were making a romantic comedy about Robin Williams and Diane Keaton stopping Anna Faris's wedding, and that they were calling it, what else, WEDDING BANNED. It was destined to be man's greatest blunder--one that would be relived week after week in back-to-back showings on TBS. One that must be stopped.

Oh, good, someone stopped it:

Less than a month after beaching "Captain Nemo: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea," new Walt Disney chief Rich Ross has put the kibosh on "Wedding Banned," a romantic comedy to have starred Robin Williams, Anna Faris and Diane Keaton.

One factor in the decision was the poor showing of another Disney comedy starring Williams, "Old Dogs," which has grossed $35 million since its Nov. 25 opening.

So one Robin Williams movie effectively stopped another from happening? Amazing. This is like when Vader decides at the last minute to throw the Emperor into that pit. One evil has crushed another, and the galaxy is safe again.
