Dec 15 2009'Date Night' Poster: Genre... So... Ambiguous...

date-night-poster.jpg

A grey, not white, background? White, not red, text? Heads that appear to actually belong on the actors' bodies--and that aren't airbrushed into smooth, unrecognizable ovals with eyes? What gives? Is this a comedy or not, guys? Come on, throw me an Eddie Murphy or something.

i hope carell can keep fey from making this movie suck. maybe he can elevate her comedy past begging for laughs with her "haha im a lame nerdy chick in midlife" routine.

Lookin' forward to this movie. Carell and Fey are both pretty talented comedians. Just look at The Office and 30 Rock. I'm hoping it doesn't fail.

Wow - is it just me or has Helena Bonham Carter lost some weight?

Well there is that thing on Carell's head that looks like something Travolta would wear. So yes, it's officially a comedy.

I don't know what they had Fey goin' for in this, but Carell's expression just radiates hilarity. Have to wait for a trailer to see if it's worthy of watching or not.

that poster has kind of a zombie feel to it. the clothes mainly
