Dec 28 2009'Cop Out' Trailer: How Tracy Morgany Will Tracy Morgan Be?
100% Tracy Morgany, obviously. Tracy Morgan never (can't?) turns off the Tracy Morgan. That's why he's Tracy Morgan.
Here's the trailer for Kevin Smith's first shot at not writing (only being a barely-adequate director this time), Cop Out (formerly titled A Couple of Dicks until it was deemed that implying two penises was too hilarious of a pun). It's the Lethal Weapon for a new generation that only knows that Lethal Weapon involved something with a black cop and a white cop doing things.
If the MPAA had also rejected the name Cop Out for some reason, another good title would be Die Hard Has a Mentally Ill Sidekick! Or Untitled Bruce Willis/Tracy Morgan Cop Buddy Comedy.

Tracy Morgan is NOT FUNNY. He delivers his lines with the speed and grace of a tugboat.....
He sucked on SNL so bad. He sucks on 30 Rock. And he will suck in this movie....
Tracy Morgan is NOT FUNNY....Which is a pretty big deal when working in comedy.

And I think you need to rephrase your statement. What you mean is "I think that Tracy Morgan is not funny", which is a pretty big deal when separating opinion from fact.

Reread what you wrote and tell me otherwise. Personally, I don't mind TM and think his funniest stuff is his interviews, but I also don't care for internet commenters who think that everyone else shares their opinion.

Granted, as movies go this probably won't win any awards but it wasn't expected to when it was written. No one takes buddy cop comedies seriously. The writers knew this when it was written. I personally think that the pairing of Bruce "I'm not taking your shit" Willis and Tracy "Is he on meth?" Morgan is genius. The polar opposites just make for comedy by itself. But then make Tracy Morgan a semi-competent police officer and you've officially piqued my interest. It won't be a Beverly Hills Cop. But it will get some cheap laughs and I'm down for that.

Tracy is a disgrace. I'm tired of these neegros allowing themselves to be used. Why are you stuffing food into your face and the way Bruce Willis is looking at him is like "Look at this nigga here". And then the trailer shows the other white guy being dragged while handcuffed to the car. Is this suppose to be funny???

Tracy ain't bad when he has well-written dialogue and not too much screen time. Sooooo not this movie. And Bruce seems to be phoning it in, or maybe they didn't write any interesting material for him either. If these are the moments they decide to put in the trailer... damn. Sadly enough, the only time I laughed was when SWS said "I'll shoot you."

Once in a while it's good to have a silly cop movie - I'll go watch it on the big screen. I recently (re)watched the whole Lethal Weapon / Die Hard series and I found them refreshingly entertaining. Could be nostalgia - who knows. Looove Bruce, like Smith (especially his Q&A sessions), so-so on Morgan, but the movie definitely it's a yes for me and the hubby.

Tracy Morgan isn't funny. Tracy Morgan isn't trying to be funny. Tracy Morgan may look like he's trying to be funny, but that's because Tracy Morgan is trying to look like he's trying to be funny. He's trying to disturb you, causing your brain to react in a way that is not usual, and possible think of things you may not have thought of before. You may find these things funny. You may not. If you don't you may decide to hate him because what you really want is to have someone tell you things you already know in a way that makes you feel good inside. Tracy Morgan doesn't want you to come to his movie. Tracy Morgan wants you to go down to your basement and watch your little brother shoot milk out his nose. Tracy Morgan hates you.
