With Batman sequel rumors calming momentarily, let's take some time to concentrate on different superhero movie casting speculation that probably won't end up being true. Like, did you hear how Rachel McAdams (and a guy) might be in Spider-Man 4???
Rachel McAdams has met with the producers of the film for a major role. McAdams (of 'Wedding Crashers' and 'Sherlock Holmes' fame) is said to be a top contender for the role of Felicia Hardy, known to comic fans as The Black Cat.Fans recall that when Spidey first encounters the Black Cat, she's a cat burgler looking to free her ailing father from prison. She becomes smitten with the web-slinger, to the point of a stalker-level obsession. Later stories had Peter reciprocating her affection and her becoming a lover, a friend and ally (the perfect thing to allow Sony to create a Spidey spin-off).
And it looks like it'll be a two-villain movie. Our source also says they are casting for a male villain, but had few details. However, this would seem to discount the idea that Lizard is the primary, since the role of Dr. Conners has been cast since movie #2.
I guess Sam Raimi is hoping Spider-Man plots are like odometers, where if you stack on enough romantic conflicts and superfluous villains, eventually they'll roll over into a reasonable number again.

For the past two films you have the lizard just walking around acting all sciency. Are you ever going to use him???
And did anyone watch the second batman film with the penguin and catwoman. It was stupid when she showed a love interest in the hero.

Forget mysterio! and they already killed Venom (Big Mistake Sony!) but they did seperate a piece of venom which leads me to speculate that they will bring Carniage into the picture.
Also I say we get rid of kristen Dunst! she's a shitty actress anyways

why wouldn't these said comic fans know felicia hardy as felicia hardy? how big of a fan can you be considered if you only know her as black cat?

Rachel McAdams as Black Cat... Hmmm, that has possibilities. Also, in this summary of her, they make Felicia seem kinda crazy. Obsession? This isn't Twilight, it's comic books, come on.
And I refuse to take Spiderman seriously until they get someone at least half-way hot for MJ. Kirsten Dunst? MJ is three things above every thing else. In love with Spidey, natural redhead, and hot. Acting as one out of three isn't going to do it.

Can Sam Raimi look up the definition of "voluptuous" please? Take out a Spiderman comic with The Black Cat in it. Pull up a picture of Rachel McAdams. See the difference??? Good lord. We already have to put up with Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane.

yea they should have done the lizard instead of venom. Connors and spider-man teaming up against harry or sandman resulting in Gwen Stacy's death i could go along with.
The other villain will be Kraven hunting spider-man then losing interest after appearance of the lizard
@10 - That comic book character has an unnatural, but hot, body. ScarJo already in marvel, and i wouldn't want black cat to be some silicone slut. McAdam's would do fine. Or jessica biel if she were a good actress, she's voluptuous

but she's not who'd i'd envision as Felicia.
maybe someone more like Ali Larter? idk but prettier and younger.
