Nov 19 2009'Remember Me' Trailer: Robert Pattinson Has Movies Besides 'Twilight' Sequels, You Know
Pierce Brosnan is as surprised as you.
See R. Pattinson continue his bad boy boyfriend shtick while trading in sparkly vampirism for throwing things and smoking indoors (so bad!) in this trailer for Remember Me. As a bonus, you'll also get to see Pattinson get his face slammed into the pavement (therapeutic if you're really sick of this whole Twilight thing) and how a former James Bond has transformed into George Hamilton.
Chris Cooper: wowing us with his portrayals of angry, violent fathers since American Beauty.
Thanks for the tip, Maggie.

Huh. Take away the Twilight stigma from Robert Patterson, and he's not half bad. Too bad I can't separate him in my mind from that sparkly vampire flick.

I find Pattinson oddly compelling as a lead in this type of movie, which surprises me since I thought I absolutely hated the man and his retarded greasy ass hair.

This supports my douchebagorean theorem hypothesis.

I read the script to this movie, and I am super excited for it! it's a great story.

Looks ok for a chick flick. Eh....How'd you read the script Lizzie?

Wtf, I don't remember Edward doing this inthe book.

I used to agree with the Robert Patterson-sparkly vampire comments, but then I read about in over on the superficial. He was signing books or autographs or something and a girl asked him how she could impress him. He told her to get naked and she started to strip. Now I actually like him.

He actually seems pretty talented when he is not in whiteface vamp makeup spouting cheesy teen romance novel lines. This film was written by the same screenwriter that wrote 'Rachel Getting Married' - which was awesome. Give him a good script and he might actually be able to escape Edward Cullen hysteria.

Hmmm I just wasted 2:29 min of my Sunday

For a script by the Rachel Getting Married person, there's an awful lot of Twilighty lines in there.

No joke, the end of this movie is 9/11.

Really looking forward to seeing this. I think Twilight was just showing the surface of Robert Pattinson’s acting skills, can’t wait to see him in a role with more depth.
Other signs that this movie is going to be good:
1 – it has Chris Cooper. He’s always great.
2 – great songs in the trailer, especially “Asleep” by The Album Leaf (the one that plays about halfway through). That song is just about as dreamy as Robert himself!
