Kick-Ass trailer, everyone. If you're considering becoming an amateur superhero with no actual powers, watch this first. I'm not sure if it will discourage you; I just think it's the kind of thing that will probably be relevant and popular in amateur superhero circles, and I wouldn't want you to look foolish.

Nic Cage is playing "Big Daddy". Hopefully this doesn't involve him wearing a hairpiece of some kind.
I really wish that kick-ass wasn't the best term for it, but this movie really does look kick-ass. Or maybe bad-ass. But more kick-ass.

Speaking of Nicolas Cage in a seemingly decent movie, Bad Lieutenant is at 92 percent at rotten tomatoes right now. Emmanuel Levy, who I tend to agree with almost all the time, gave the movie a B. I just don't know if I'm ready to like a movie starring Cage.

If it is as good as the comic, it will be really really good. BTW, I hate that comic artist, it is just THAT good of a story to get over it.

He actually do have (get) some "powers" as he has a bit of a resistance of pain and all the metal in his body (after the accidents) makes him able to take one hell of a beating.

I really hope kick ass ends up using some form of Kali with those sticks. Its almost too perfect a set up for it.
