Oct 9 2009'Toy Story 3' Teaser Poster: Dinosaur Eats Three
I pretty sure what they're implying here is that, in Toy Story 3, the dinosaur toy will eat some sort of "3 capsule," which will result in him splitting into three versions of himself, each personifying only one part of his Freudian psyche--one dinosaur of pure id, one of pure ego, and one that's entirely superego--and each at a third of the original's size.
I suppose it's also possible the toy dinosaur eating a "3" is just kind of a cute, innocent way to present the concept there being a Toy Story 3, but I'm still pretty certain my first theory is sound.

Kinda looks like he's eating a Golden Arches. Maybe there will be a McDonalds tie in with toys and a new limited edition burger called the Woody (of course that might not be too kid friendly).

It's amazing how the comments are always so much funnier than the writers themselves, who seem to be trying pretty hard, to no avail.

It's a shame your comment doesn't rank among anything to be deemed "comedic".
Perhaps the writer's humour was too much for you. I believe the "joke" was that this writer's theory represents a classic theme in movies/literature, but this is Toy Story , a child's movie, and one probably shouldn't look too deeply for meaning, especially given the teaser poster.
But you're right. The jokes about "Woody" are super original and totally funny. Incredibly insightful as well. Keep it up, you future Dane Cooks!

You guys don't see it huh. He's getting his revenge on the meteor that wiped his whole family out. A 3 to the side looks like an M, which is the first letter of 'meteor'. Brilliant, I know.
