Oct 27 2009'Mighty Boosh' Movie: Still Happening
News about the planned film adaptation of British television series The Mighty Boosh is like news about the Arrested Development movie: even when it's non-news, it's still sort of news, because what else do we have to look forward to? So I'll accept this crumb of an update as a meal if you will:
Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt have confirmed that they are working on a Mighty Boosh film – but refused to be drawn on too many details.Speaking to the BBC at the premiere of Bunny And The Bull, a film in which they both have cameos, Barratt did drop some hints about their own movie.
He said: ‘We try to do on TV quite magical epic journeys, and we thought if you're doing a film we should really do it in one room, basically just kind of a sitcom, for 90 minutes.
‘So we might do that. We might do exactly what we didn't do on TV.’
Fielding kept shtum about the project, saying: ‘I've got to stop doing that, I've been stung too many times.’
Thank you for that morsel, guys. I'll go back to my stink corner now.

..what is it with british comedy...That Mighty Boosh shit couldnt make me laugh while I was High..Its a bunch of queerish tumors on tv. Fuk boosh and adult swim for letting it ruin what they strived hard to achieve back when their bumps consisted of old geezers in swiming pools. All Hail Thunderclease

Go to hell iws writer. How dare you give me another sitcom movie to vainly wait for. I fell for it the first few times you posted "Arrested Development". At least since it's English and good I know that it's already exhausted it's amount of awesome, having had 20 episodes. All great British sitcoms end around 20 episodes (see: "The Office", "Extras", "Fawlty Towers, "Blackadder").
I need not waste anytime hoping for this proverbial carrot.
