The first photos of Liam Neeson as Zeus in Clash of the Titans have shown up in Entertainment Weekly. I was a bit skeptical of the amount of t-shirt I was seeing in other costumes, but in this shot, I have to say, I'm pretty impressed by the degree of authenticity here. That's an authentic Asian fan being waved by an actual Asian woman subservient to Liam Neeson! THAT'S authenticity! Even Schindler's List just used a box fan between takes.

Zeus doesn't 'look' like anything. Greek gods are natural shapeshifters because their actual forms are too transcedant for mortals to fathom. Read some Ovid. In his true form Zeus is so 'radient' that anyone who looks at him bursts into flame and dies. Like his girlfriend did, and by girlfriend I mean hot chick he was banging behind Hera's back.
