Oct 1 2009For Real Look at Green Hornet This Time
OK, forget that earlier post with the blurry photo of the jacket-less stunt guy dressed as Green Hornet. Here's the real deal: Seth Rogen in full dapper superhero regalia. No more complaining about Rogen's hypothetical appearance; now the grumbling will hold actual weight!
Personally, I couldn't care less if it's Rogen or anyone else wearing the green mask. I'm still pissed that the Green Hornet is being represented visually at all. Boo! Booooo! Keep Green Hornet in the audio of a 1930s radio drama! Boooooo!

I'm sure a simple Google search will do, but I'm too busy for that now. Who/ what is the green lantern? I have never heard of him/it before the IWS writer started talking about it some months back.

Personally I liked the The Green Hornet tv show. Was done pretty much Adam West Batman style so I got into it. We shall see how this movie goes though.

who is it that actually thought a green hornet movie is a good idea? The Phantom didn't work (the costume was spot on but the plot sucked - and Billy Zane....eh, not so much). And The Shadow was a bomb and that had some (very small some, but still, some) star power with Alec Baldwin. But the Green Hornet? Maybe the Super Duper Penultimate Edition Blu Ray will make them their money back.

He's not that funny of a guy. He's a marginal supported actor, ala the 40 Year Old Virgin. When he is the lead, he doesn't act, he just is himself. And he's not funny.

Rogan couldn't look "dapper" unless he was wearing a duck suit. Oh no wait ... then he'd look "daffy." So, Rogan can't look dapper under any circumstances.

hollywood insider, funnily enough the back story for the green hornet is that his alter ego is actually a descendent of the lone ranger, so in a way you're kind of right?

I cant wait to see Rogen play something outside of his comfort level. If it sucks then who cares, just a movie and you can forget about it. But I for one am excited. Might be the only one from the looks of this board. haha

I don’t like Seth Rogen, I don’t think he can act, he is loud and obnoxious and anyone can play a stoner. He is a narcissist and an ass. He really can not act; his popularity is from the stoner characters he has played in the past, he rants of recent show just how much he thinks he is better than he really is. I predict this movie will be a flop Seth was and is the wrong choice for this roll. His age has made it ridiculous for him to keep the stoner character seem real.
