Sep 16 2009'Paranormal Activity' Trailer: Chandeliers Are Mysteriously Swinging!
Ever wonder why MTV's campy, pseudo-reality, paranormal investigation show, Fear, wasn't made into a movie? Now it has been!
The latest horror film to pick up on the Blair Witch camcorder thing, Paranormal Activity has a new trailer. This may be the first time a shuffled-through trail of sugar has been used as a scare tactic:
Sure, the audience seemed scared, but what if that's the same audience you see laughing uproariously at All About Steve?

ok, I have been hearing a LOT about this and it's supposed to be terrifying... not an endorsement, just what I heard from the festival circuit...
Also, it was made for $11,000

More interested in "The Fourth Kind"....
Aliens seem more real to me than Jesus or the Devil...
Just my opinion...

The trailer is lame, but I commend the studio for not remaking it, which was going to happen at one point. I've been following this film for a few years now, and I'm glad its at least getting a release.

This movie is friggin' awesome. Saw it a few months ago (a friend of a friend of a friend of the filmmakers had a DVD copy of it). I highly recommend checking it out if you can. It's one of those flicks that messes with your mind when you're trying to sleep later that night.

My brother actually saw this movie at Slamdance (I think that was the festival). He is not a fan of horror movies and he said that this movie scared the living expletive deleted out of him. I will def. see it as soon as I can.

If they want to give it a documentary feel and really suck you in, maybe they should start by not going yet again for the young pretty couple characters, crappy special effects (that ghost has amazing aim to throw the guy right at the camera), and my god is that an OUIJA board I saw? How about a hyped low budget film that actually has a reason for the hype besides low budget.

I saw a screening of this about a year ago and it is really a fantastic movie. It doesn't rely on gimmicks and the characters are really well developed. I recommend you see this if it is out near you.

5 bucks says the movie ends with the guy getting thrown at the camera.
cause lets face it, ghost throws you at a camera, cameras gonna be pretty broke.

I am inclined to believe that every positive comment posted up until this point has been nothing more than viral marketing.
All "scary" movies are disappointing, IMO.

A friend of mine works for a horror magazine and has really seen em all.
She said after she saw this she was up until 4:30 am and cant drive in a car alone now. Most terrifying thing she's ever seen. Sweet.

It's not the scariest movie ever... but it's nucking futs. I had to sleep with the Television on. I just can't get thoughts outta my head whenever I hear something after 3am.
