Sep 17 2009Ever Want To See 'Superbad' as a Cartoon?

That's now an attainable goal in your life. Well done, YouTube user stevefalz--though, as usual, I'm not entirely sure why done.

Below the cut, the "Afternoon Delight" sequence from Anchorman, now animated.

Keep at it, people of the internet. We've almost made everything.

Brilliant! Both those scenes are my favourite from the movies. Love it.

Excellent work. Hope this animator gets a sweet job soon.

Completely pointless. I would have been more impressed if the animator wrote their own material, a la MacFarlane, Groening, or Parker and Stone.

that was awesomely stupid

Yawn

i agree with #3, it should have been something original, basically he (or she) was just ripping off superbad in this completely pointless short... the animation wasn't that bad though (if only they could use their powers for good!)

ehhh, nothing special.

They are ok..

Nothing thus far has beaten the Watchmen Saturday Morning Cartoon.

Completely pointless. I would have been more impressed if the animator wrote their own material, a la MacFarlane, Groening, or Parker and Stone.

^ where have i heard this before? hmmmm...

Wow. You guys are harsh. I'd love to see you do something like this. Maybe he's just practicing his animation skills and not letting the time it takes to come up with original ideas get in his way of practicing what he truly has talent for.

totally wickedly awesome. made the hubby and me laugh our asses off. as soon as the animated movie comes out, him and i will totally be there.

=D

HAHAHA!! oops... never finished writing the rest of my myspace website

el oh el.

wow i didnt think you could make superbad worse than it already is. i was wrong.

also the anchorman animation wasnt bad, but if you're going to recreate the scene may as well do it 100% faithfully, little things were missing

YAY!

Sweet Jesus! Brilliant!

I think you hit the nail on the head. This guy is just trying to get some practice as well as some exposure. Plus I do the same thing with my music. Plug in lyrics from other songs til I have my own.

After all, you dont have to reinvent the wheel to perfect the tire.
