Sep 4 2009'Defendor' Trailer: Woody Harrelson is Wacky, Insane Superhero

Ever hope to see the 1994 Damon Wayans/David Alan Grier superhero comedy Blankman remade slightly more deadpan, with a hooker, and starring Woody Harrelson as a madman? No? Well, you should try to be more ambitious about wanting to see In Living Color-centric movies re-done in new and creative ways. (I have fantasies of a new version of Major Payne nearly every night, and it's fantastic.)

Anyway, regardless if you wanted it, here it is, gratis:

Sounds awesome.

I think these quirky roles suit Woody somewhat better then most.

who knows where i can find a cool power ranger costume. and not those crappy ones from costumes.com or w/e.

why did i never notice before that woody harrelson and owen wilson have kind of merged?

I think they've merged. With your mom! That's right, a quirky role threesome.

Who wouldn't?

this looks good. maybe, too good...

That movie looks Kick Ass!

Another comedy about not so super heros......I don't think people realize just how many of these tankfests have hit the big screen in the past 10 years. Too many and all less than good.

That being said, I can't wait!

Blankman was orsm, how dare they! :)

No body else thinks this is a slight rip off of "Special"? Anybody even know that movie? Michael Rapaport?

this looks highly entertaining. love woody harrelson.

I'm looking foward to this, now, actually. Maybe a little. I never really look FORWARD to seeing Woody Harrelson but I am usually pleasantly surprised. Listening to him talk like someone's stealing his Ford works for me.

I want to see Kick Ass a whole, whole, whole lot more, though, so this comes in second in the "not really super heroes at all" genre for this year.

Reminds me a little too much of Taxi Driver.

I saw this today. It was well-worth my time. I'm wondering what kind of release it will get; will the States see this at all?
