Wondering if Daft Punk's Tron Legacy theme sounds like the music that always played when you saw the bad guys in the intro to every arcade game made in the late '80s/early '90s? It kind of does:

This is not the real thing. This is a reconstructed version by Cryda Luv. The original Daft Punk version is not available yet.

Am I the only one who thinks it's crap?
I love electronica and synth, and generally Daft Punk are pretty high on my playlist (not on my respect list though - but thats another story), but this track was really quite boring. I do hope it is a reconstruction like Zoe said (#3), because this would actually diminish my excitement about the film, which is almost impossible, because I'm a tron diehard.
Time shall tell I suppose. EXCITEMENT.

willwill....so your a huge fan of "electronica" and "synth"....wtf is synth? I've been in the dance/eletronic music scene for over 10 years and I've never heard ANYONE call it "synth" or "electronica" other than people who dont really listen to it or listen to industrial or some wack shit like that. This track is sick as hell and yes...its reconstructed but expect the original to have pretty much the same sound/melody.
You say you like electronic music but Daft Punk arent high on your respect list?!? Then whose on your respect list then? I would to see it. Daft Punk are LEGENDS of their game.

"Streethawk" theme was from Tangerine Dream.
It explains a lot.
This Daft-reconstructed-whatever-tune sounds a bit weak for me, though.
