Aug 24 2009'Vampire's Assistant' Poster Could Use More John C. Reilly

I was going to comment on how this looks like the cover to some ridiculous young adult book, but then I remembered this film is based on some kind of ridiculous young adult book. So, uh, never mind, I guess. Good job helping me so vividly recollect what a Scholastic book order form looks like.

It looks like they got the layer with his face and went 'Filter', 'Distort', 'Pinch', then dragged the amount way back because nothing is more attractive than a hideously convex face

Holy crap. Scholastic book order forms! I remember girl's book orders came with requisite horse posters. I hated horses. I think I had a stack of those posters in a closet.

"The Homo Vampire"

Wow, you guy's photoshop expertise and criticizing poster art ability really turns me on. Who's ready for a bj?

Jeremy Clarkson is a Vampire?

TWENTY-FIRST!

holy shit! his face/head..!!
Why would an alien want to be a vampire's assistant?

The kid looks like he's about to get beat up by Jeremy Clarkson.

Scholastic Book Orders FTW!!!

How is this not a Twilight parody? John C. Reilly? With that hair? This can't actually be a serious movie!

I wonder if the makers of the movie have even read the book, every trailer and poster i see is filled with wrong

Whats wrong with that kids head?

A skull's brow line is supposed to go upward near the nose, but someone made it follow his eyebrows as though they are bending his skull.

Also, yeah, I think the photo of his face was probably taken separately, with the camera too close to his face, thus the perspective warp

I totally agree with 11, I saw this ad and was so horrified I need to search the web for more like-minded people. You would think that they could hire at least a decent photoshop person, I think my high school friend could do a better job. Not to mention, what is even the motive? To make the guy look more like that Patterson guy?
Well I am happy I wasn't the only person who noticed, and felt so strongly to say something.
