Aug 20 2009Phew, They Missed! No, Wait, I'm Cut to Pieces
No more having to constantly switch out DVDs just to watch a constant string of scenes where someone gets cut apart so precisely that there are several seconds of stunned silence before the person falls apart at the slice line(s)! This montage makes indulging that base desire a breeze:
(Thanks, Ryan.)
If I ever suspect I've been cut to pieces, I'm going to immediately start trying to move around. I'd rather fall apart prematurely than look like I'm the last to know that my torso is no longer connected to my legs.

3. Droocy - August 20, 2009 4:46 PM
Ghost Ship had the best one :)
4. Cash - August 20, 2009 4:50 PM
Meeyatch... it was Ghost Ship from 2002. Don't get too excited, as that was the only real shocking scene in the whole film.
Anyone know what movie the second scene was from, where the guy who played Martoof in SG-1 gets cut in half by the glass?
5. Kat - August 20, 2009 4:53 PM
I find it hilarious how even if they've been cut through their heads, they're still alive.
The boat one was the funniest, and I want to know all the movies! :3
6. 16bitmick - August 20, 2009 4:54 PM
Ghost Ship
7. Duckman - August 20, 2009 4:54 PM
The boat scene is from Ghost Ship. Sadly, its all downhill from there, which is like, 5 minutes in.
8. Duckman - August 20, 2009 4:55 PM
Cash, I think that was 13 Ghosts (2001)
9. cdg - August 20, 2009 5:01 PM
I'm pretty sure the 2nd scene was 13 Ghosts.
10. MOSkito - August 20, 2009 5:04 PM
Ghostship
How about somebody makes a list? :)
I'd like the know what movie the scene, which comes before the Equilibrium scene, is. Thanks.
11. pdubz - August 20, 2009 5:05 PM
That scene from 'Johnny Mnemonic' where the dude laser-whip slices that guy up then he slides apart would have been perfect for this. I don't blame them for not including it as im told I was the only one who saw that movie.
12. The Battlepig - August 20, 2009 5:18 PM
Here's your list, people.

14. MLou - August 20, 2009 5:21 PM
Yes, the sliding glass scene is DEFINITELY from 13 ghosts.
15. fustyWumpus - August 20, 2009 5:39 PM
They missed the scene from Ice Pirates...
16. sam - August 20, 2009 5:40 PM
It was Final Destination II, not III
17. aaronk - August 20, 2009 5:46 PM
MOSkito the one before equilibrium is slither, what movie is the first scene?
18. fisty - August 20, 2009 6:03 PM
Also missed Blade 2, the Omen and yea and how could you miss Ice Pirates?
You get a C- for missing 2 of the classics.
19. andy from the future - August 20, 2009 6:15 PM
totally should have had the Johnny Mnemonic scene. Laser Nail Is sooooooooooooo tight.
20. Dr.Necropolis - August 20, 2009 6:18 PM
Maybe some of the best slice in half scenes were saved for a sequel! Though in that case I suppose Resident Evil and Ghost Ship would have been saved...
I made a friend from work watch it with me, I was cracking up the whole time(going to pieces?), now apparently my coworker thinks I have issues...Awesome

We made this video on a slow day at work. It seems someone ripped our youtube version and posted it to break. Oh, well. If you want to see the original that is of higher quality, go here:

MalibuBayFilms can eat a dick.

I think Equilibrium brought it hard core. Any movie that could make Taye Diggs seem like a viable bad guy as opposed to a non threatening pseudo Jamaican beefcake will always have my vote.
23. Hal - August 20, 2009 8:48 PM
SOMEONE get those JOHNNY MNEMONIC, BLADE 2 and especially ICE PIRATES slices up on the internets PRONTO!

Thank you Battlepig~
26. Dot Dash Dot - August 21, 2009 1:52 AM
How could you guys hate MyBloody Valentine! It was the "best 3D horror movie ever"! /sarcasm
27. ama - August 21, 2009 6:04 AM
The scene from Cube gave me nightmares for a frikkin' week.
28. Bobeyo - August 21, 2009 7:55 AM
These are so retarded and unrealistic. I guess that's why most of them are from pseudo-horror-movies. Only a few even try to portray the body's interior anatomy correctly. Most of them make you think Humans are just giant sausages.
29. greenman - August 21, 2009 1:38 PM
I really don't believe that wire in the last scene could have cut through all of those people.
30. Fumus - August 21, 2009 2:39 PM
Awesome! I have now successfully submitted 2 tips to the fish and one to my favorite guy...the watcher!!
Anyways, great scenes right?
31. McE - August 21, 2009 3:29 PM
Okay, overall No Escape was an very mediocre movie...
...but, that it did have one hella good villain.
32. Rob - August 21, 2009 5:00 PM
They could have CUT that trailer a bit better.
33. Travis - August 21, 2009 5:52 PM
How could you leave out Star Wars: Episode 1 with Obi-Wan and Darth Maul!
34. HotCarlMarx - August 21, 2009 7:34 PM
@ Rob your use of capitalization was a hack job at best... but i understand it gets a little dicey trying to make topical puns noticeable. You're a CUT above the rest for posting it
35. jp.frothy - August 21, 2009 10:29 PM
@ The Battlepig:
I hate to be that guy, but that was Final Destination 2, not 3.
36. jp.frothy - August 21, 2009 10:32 PM
Damnit, I read through the posts and obviously missed the guy who beat me to the punch. There should be more movie collages like this one.
37. TommyP - August 22, 2009 12:41 PM
I just still can't believe that there is a Lance Henriksen movie that I haven't seen much less a HellRaiser movie that I haven't seen. But I am awestruck that there is a HellRaiser movie WITH Lance Henriksen that I missed.
Next stop: NetFlix!
#32 and #34 - CUT that out you two.
38. TommyP - August 22, 2009 12:47 PM
Not quite the same but the horse scene in the Cell was kinda disturbing.
39. No job - August 23, 2009 2:14 PM
I remember hearing a lot of times that the Ghost ship cutting scene was very funny and everything, but I have never seen it until now...
that's some sick kind of humor
It wasn't funny at all!
40. Ryuuza - August 25, 2009 6:08 AM
Another notable one, although not to a human, was the horse scene from "The Cell"
