Aug 26 2009New 'Bored to Death' Trailer: Jason Schwartzman, P.I.

Boasting an impressive cast of actors of the comedy genre, HBO's Bored to Death begins airing next month, so the network has released another trailer to promote the September 20 premiere. The series stars Jason Schwartzman as a private investigator, with supporting parts from the always-funny Zach Galifianakis and Ted Danson, who may have finally redeemed himself after Becker. His Curb Your Enthusiasm run nearly did it, but I still harbored resentment from the NBC miniseries Gulliver's Travels. This could be it:

What do you think? Maybe not amazing, but pretty solid when compared to Date a Fat Woman, Fat Man and that show with a water obstacle course.

Oh fuck. Just in this trailer I saw Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis, Patton Oswalt, Olivia Thirlby, and Parker Posey. I think my head just exploded from pure joy. I am so excited for this, based on the cast. And also because my Veronica Mars loving heart needs a new PI to watch weekly.

Oh, and every bad thing Jason Schwartzman has been in is automatically forgiven because of Rushmore.

leave ted alone, he was in saving private ryan for like a whole 6 minutes, that should erase becker by itself

My fav part:
"how long has john been in there"
"i dunno...i'm on marijuana minutes"

Oliver Platt and Parker Posey? This thing must be golden.

Goddamn, I wish I had HBO.

And John Hodgeman! As a literary agent!

First of all, this show is going to rock out with it's cock out. Second of all, screw you IWS writer, Becker was an awesome show.

Could the cast be any lily-whiter? It's like they took every meme off of "Stuff White People Like" and made it into a show.
